Nejlepsi - The photos in the gallery are those which I think to be my personal best, hence the title "Nejlepsi" which is Czech for "the best". Certainly, not all of these are masterpieces, but I do believe that each one exemplifies certain characteristics of a "good" photograph.
Stonehenge - In November of 2008, I had the opportunity to visit Stonehenge. These are a few of the photos I shot. I luckily arrived just before the storms hit. As you can see the clouds were already rolling in for the last few photos. I think it adds something interesting to the pictures.
Auschwitz - Also, in November of 2008, I went to Auschwitz, the former Nazi concentration camp. Now, it is a memorial, dedicated to those who suffered there. It is in almost the exact same way as it was at the time of liberation, only preserved to stand as a testament.
Lennon Wall - In the heart of Prague, not far from the famous "Charles Bridge", stands this unofficial memorial to the great works of John Lennon. It started in the 1980's as just some graffiti, but evolved over time into what it is today. These photos are from several different visits over the course of a year. It is possible to see the changes as time went by.
Olomouc - In the hills of Moravia, lies this beautiful Romanesque city from the 7th century. Large Gothic cathedrals and a historical city center make this one of my personal favorite cities. It is an excellent place to photograph as there is something new and interesting around every corner.
Header Pics - This gallery is the original photos which make up the rotating header images.
